Kristine began her sporting career in East Vancouver as a team sport enthusiast turned swimmer turned runner turned triathlete. She has since pursued an academic path in coaching science in the areas of motor learning, neuro motor psychology, and coaching / teaching methods. She has taught Elementary PE and Kinesiology at the university / college level and is currently employed by the International Triathlon Union as Assistant Manager of Coaching and Athlete development programs worldwide. In her spare time she also works as a full-time volunteer as (founder) Head Coach of Exceleration Junior Triathlon club in Vancouver and a Master Learning Facilitator for Triathlon Canada.
